I had wanted a leather jacket for years, but I was never sure that I could really pull it off. Leather jackets are generally expensive, and there are so many styles to choose from. When I thought of leather jackets, I simply become lost. I definitely didn’t think I could choose the right one for myself. Despite, I admire cool outfits that are clothed in leather jackets. In fact, leather gives the impression that no other materials could give, particularly because of its smell and feel. If you could ever find the right one, it is a timeless piece that is worth the investment.
The leather jackets are originated from brown leather flight jackets that were worn by aviators in the early 1900s. During the World War II, they became known as “bomber jackets” and were heavily insulated for extreme climate conditions at high altitude. They started to achieve general acceptance from the society ever since. Leather jackets then have become de rigueur for cool Hollywood icons such as James Dean, Marlon Brando, Harrison Ford and Michael Jackson.
Leather jackets, in general, are inextricably associated with motorcycles, and entail a certain type of attitude. Interestingly, the biker jackets or bomber jackets are all related to the speed. That said, leather jackets seem inexorable to me. The point is that leather jackets make you feel somewhat stuck up. Usual kinship to the leather jacket is denims or jeans, but feminine outfits like lace dresses or evening dresses could get along with them nicely too. The leather jacket is a guarantee to make you look cool and proud.
